- What We Do
As part of our Schools Against Waste Project delivered in partnership with Somerset Council Waste Services, we can offer Somerset primary schools a FREE visit from a member of the Schools Against Waste team, which includes a half day of activities to help raise awareness amongst children and staff, encouraging everyone to practise the 3Rs – Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. A free half day outreach session includes an assembly and 2 x 1-hour Curriculum linked workshops.

This will introduce the children to the ‘Reduce, Reuse, Recycle’ message and explain the new Recycle More service.
Curriculum linked workshops
Looking at materials, their properties and how we use and re-use them. Workshops are for one class at a time.
Practical advice and support to help your school waste less and recycle more.
All sessions will be practical and fun, giving children a better understanding of waste and recycling issues.
